This was a collaborative shoot, with Becca Emily, for her Masters project Lxdy Garden, a magazine about queer sexual health and culture. I took a series of digital, medium format film and polaroid photographs of model Marlena Beata exploring Becca’s themes and inspired by the Goddess Artemis. Becca also published one of my poems with the images.

Moon Song, Woman Song
Mother or the huntress,
Before the world was, I was.
The old ones, alive at night,
Howled through the forests:
upon earth, upon water.
Still it was all romance,
A symbol of unreality,
A melt of moonlight too long beyond the moon.
You are altered,
The universe feeds your journey.
